Will FloorFiller make my website slower?
FloorFiller is built to stay lightweight. The script loads asynchronously and mostly runs when a visitor uses the preview, so normal product pages shouldn't feel noticeably slower during everyday browsing.
Is FloorFiller safe to use on my website?
Yes. You place one script snippet from your dashboard. Traffic runs over HTTPS, you don't need to share your store password, and it works like other trusted embeds. Paste the code exactly as shown in Settings.
Does FloorFiller work on my Shopify, WordPress, or WooCommerce site?
Yes. Anywhere you can add a small JavaScript snippet, FloorFiller can run—including common Shopify themes and WordPress / WooCommerce. The exact steps depend on your theme or page builder; you don't need a dedicated FloorFiller plugin. See installation instructions below.
Is FloorFiller GDPR / AVG-friendly?
Yes. We do not store personal data about your customers. Photos taken or uploaded for a preview are not stored on our servers; only generated images are kept in your account, for 30 days from creation (then deleted automatically). You can remove any generated image at any time before that. We process individual users' IP addresses only for security and to block malicious abuse of our service.
How does pricing work?
FloorFiller uses prepaid credits. A successful preview usually uses one credit. Buying more credits in one go can lower the price per credit.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You'll get an email when you're almost out of credits. You can top up credits in your account. If your balance hits zero, the FloorFiller preview button won't appear on your website pages.
Can I change how the preview button looks?
Yes. In the embed settings you pick from preset button styles so the control fits your theme without writing CSS yourself.
Which browsers are supported?
Recent desktop and mobile browsers—today's Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge usually work well. Very old browsers can run into problems.
Do I need a developer to install FloorFiller?
Often not. If you can paste a snippet in your theme, a Custom HTML block, or a similar field, you can go live. Heavy custom work may go faster with a developer.
Installing the preview button
Copy your personal embed code from Settings in your account (embed / preview button).
- In your FloorFiller account, open Settings and follow the steps to install the preview button.
- Open the HTML file or template on your site for the page where the button should appear (for example a product detail page).
- Paste the placeholder <div> exactly where the preview button should appear—for example near the product title, price, or main button.
- Paste the script once on the same page, usually in the <head> or just before the closing </body> tag, as described in step 3 in Settings.
- Check that the FloorFiller button is visible and run a test preview. If it doesn't load, check allowed domains in your FloorFiller settings and that you have enough credits.
